About Héctor
I was born in Mexico City and have lived there all of my life. Recently my wife and I relocated to Turin, Italy and our first son was born here. I’ve been working with computers and internet even before studying Computer Systems Engineer at ITESM in Mexico City. As you may see I have a weakness for technology, gadgets, computers and videogames, so I am a full time geek. Besides that I also like traveling, sightseeing, spend time with my family and cooking (yup, that’s right). In this site I will keep you in touch with my likes and my hobbies so keep in touch as long as you can.
Why my nickname is alFador?
Long story short. By the time I began my studies at University a very good friend came to me and suggested me to pick up a nickname before everybody else picked up one for me. So I began lurking into my hobbies in search for a new nickname. At that time I was playing one of favorite RPG’s Chrono Trigger and decided that my new nickname will be related to that game. So that is the story, alFador is a character in the game, though not a main character. In fact, alFador only appears two times in the game as the little kitty mascot of another character named Janus. So, from all the other character names that appear in the game I wanted to pick one that wasn’t very commercial, you know, everybody would pick the main character name or so, but I read alFador and I liked it. Anyways, here is a video of the game where you can see the two scenes where alFador makes it’s unique appearance.

About Sofía
Pasionate, active, and crazy are some adjectives that can describe who am I. Studied Industrial designer, right now I am in the jewelry field. Pasionate about 3D modeling design. One of my characteristics is to do too much stuff at the same time. Some of my hobbies are; dancing, traveling and be crazy one in a while. Imagination is part of my daily life that is in constant change. One day I am part of a group called Cadena, and I camp two times a year in the middle of nowhere among other thousand things. The next day I am part of a group that brings food to the victims of a natural disaster, Hormigas. The next day I dance in front of dozens of people Belly dance with several groups and practice a lot. All of it of course attending classes and achieving good grades in a very demanding school, my beloved alma mater Tec de Monterrey CCM. Finally, I get married; win an Italian scholarship to study a Master degree in Jewelry engineering at the Politecnico di Torino and travel, first by myself to do it. Not to mention that in the process I got pregnant and decide it to do it anyway. See why I said that crazy was one of the adjectives that best described me.
Ok, my life is like the Wheel of the fortune, It changes a lot, the difference is that it seems that in the end I always win because I couldn’t be happier. The idea of the perfect life change from one year to another. Only one thing remains constant, and that is my lovely husband, that has been with me through all these years, 10 to be exact, 10 Years of Alfaku, but that’s another story. Without Alfador I really would not have accomplish even half of the things I’ve already said, not to mention go to school and doing the sage with a little baby.

Why does alFaku.net design is inconsistent?
Because Hector is always developing new features to this site, new stuff is being tested and new content is being added. For Hector this site has become a mean to test his abilities in web development so many experiments may happen in this site once in a while.
